Elegy of Hope

Hope is when a fledging seeks to pull out of a nest

Hope is a November night rain

Hope plays round the mirthful boy

The midnight sun at the bottom of a sea

The Northern lights showered with meteors

Elegant blue water stroking your feet in the midst of a desert

Hope sprinkles from a clear sky beneath the moonlight

A pendent round the neck, luck piece in the pocket

A hope that makes way for the lost

Hope that walks you through burning bridges

The little girl lighting matchsticks through frosty breeze

Hachiko standing by for Ueno to make it

Hope is an echo, hope ties itself yonder, yonder

A hope that keeps you breathing and moving…
